Based in Australia, Mark heads up the 4global’s office in Sydney. An ongoing focus of his work is improving information management systems and processes, to ensure the right information is captured and communicated to the right people at the right time, so they can make the right decisions.
He is a specialist in the art and science of major event operations readiness and is well known in the industry for his considerable expertise major event integrated planning. Mark is credited with developing the concept for the first Olympic Games Readiness Exercise in preparation for Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Mark holds degrees from the Royal Military College, Duntroon and the University of Technology in Sydney.
Since 2000, Mark has provided readiness advice and services to the IOC, every Olympic Games since Sydney and many other global events as well as working closely with 4global’s software team to develop our Information Management System software, which was used at the Main Operations Centres at the 2015 Cricket and Rugby World Cups.
